Easy Homemade Granola


1/2 cup grapeseed oil

1/2 cup honey (use local honey to help with allergies) or maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup dried blueberries or other dried, chopped fruit


Measuring cups and spoons

Large bowl


Rimmed baking sheet


  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk together the oil, honey, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Add the oats and stir to coat.

  4. Spread the oats out onto the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  6. Remove from oven, add the fruit, tamp down, and then let cool.

  7. Store in airtight container.

Recipe notes:

You can also add in things like dried nuts, or seed like pepitas ( green roasted pumpkin seed kernels).

To make this gluten-free simply make sure your oats were processed in a gluten-free facility.

This granola can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one month.
